One of Kingsport’s most recognizable landmarks is best experienced at night. Take in the breathtaking views of the Model City under the moonlight. This is a 4-mile roundtrip hike and may take up to 3 hours to complete. Be prepared with good shoes, water, and a flashlight. Not recommended for young children.

After you finish your hike, discover the wonders of the night sky! Gaze through telescopes to see wonders of the night sky, guided by our staff and volunteer astronomers at our park observatories.
