Day Camp
Register your child for Bays Mountain Park’s Summer Day Camp! Tuition for camp is only $75 per child; a current Family Membership is required to register your child. Family Memberships cost only $65 and allows you and your family to get free park entry for one vehicle and up to six free passes per program (planetarium shows and barge rides), every time you visit the park for one full year! If you’re not already a park member, this means you get both your child’s day camp registration AND Family Membership for only $140! (+ $65 for each additional child enrolled in the same week). If you’re already a park member, only the cost of tuition is required per attendee.
Bays Mountain Park’s Summer Day Camp invites young explorers to discover nature through hands-on adventures, outdoor exploration, and wildlife investigations! Campers will hike trails, meet live animals, conduct experiments, and uncover the secrets of the natural world.
Day Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Campers should bring a bag lunch with drink daily. Parents or guardians should plan to stay on the first morning for a short orientation of the week’s activities and expectations. Transportation is the guardian’s responsibility. We look forward to seeing you at summer day camp!
Grades 1–3 can pick from two different themes that are sure to encourage curiosity and outside-the-box thinking: choose between solving nature mysteries as CSI: Critter Scene Investigators, or learn how to make a difference through Kids for the Wild, focusing on conservation and caring for wildlife.
Grades 4–6 will put their detective skills to the test in Mystery on the Mountain, using science, observation, and teamwork to solve an unfolding ecological mystery.
Each week encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong connection to the outdoors—right here at Bays Mountain.
Registration opens March 1, 2026! For any questions regarding Day Camp at Bays Mountain Park, contact Ranger Laura Ellis.
