HABITAT TOUR: NATIVE WOODLAND ANIMALS – The Appalachian Mountains are home to Bobcats, Deer, Otters, Raccoons, and birds of prey. Park Naturalists help you discover the unique habits of these animals, as you view them in our Native Animal Habitats.
KIDS TO PARKS DAY – Join us for Kids to Parks Day on May 19th! This national event encourages kids to become more aware of their local parks. Held from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., the event highlights programs offered at the Park. Extra programs include a touch table from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in front of the Nature Center and a scavenger hunt from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in front of the Farmstead Museum. Normal program fees apply.
