Park After Dark
Enjoy an evening under the stars with fun programming, guided explorations and some tasty treats from the La Abejita food truck and an ice cream truck beginning at 6 p.m. And be sure to secure your limited-edition Bays Mountain Park After Dark sticker at the gift shop.
The evening’s activities will include:
Participants will meet at the Nature Center at 6:45 p.m. with a 7 p.m. start for a guided hike to Sentinel Point – one of Kingsport’s most iconic landmarks. This four-mile round trip journey is estimated to take up to three hours.
Limit of 15 people and participants are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes and bring water and a flashlight. Cost is $10 per person.
Barge Ride and Night at the Nature Center
Enjoy a cool evening ride around the reservoir on the park’s barge, listening to the sounds of the nearby wildlife. A unique experience will be had by everyone.
The Night at the Nature Center allows you to meet some new animal friends, interact with biofacts and enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate. Cost is $10 per person and the events take place at 7 p.m. and again at 8 p.m.
