Kids’ Activities

Bays Mountain Park & Planetarium is bringing you a series of blog posts and videos to make sure you can still learn about and appreciate nature, even as you’re spending more time at home. Hope you enjoy!

Keeping your kids busy can be a task and a half right now. To help you out the best we can, we’ve compiled some activity sheets from the park and from our friends at the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. You’ll find two printable booklets with learning activities suited for both indoors and outdoors!

Some of the activities, like observing animals, were originally created to be done at the park—but maybe it’s time to get creative! What are some ways you and your child can observe the behaviors of grey wolves from home?

To get started, just print off each PDF file below.

If you’re visiting the park, our exhibits team has put together some scavenger hunts to get your kids focused and having fun! We have a hunt for kindergarten through third grade, and we’ll have a slightly more challenging hunt for grades 4-6 added soon.
