Experience the fantastical display of color and grandeur from our native wildflowers and natural waterfalls. On these Ranger-led tours, you will be guided through the natural world of our Northeast Tennessee forests.
The Laurel Run watershed is known for its great beauty and impressive waterfalls. On this hike, you will experience two falls, Upper and Lower Laurel Run Falls. On your trek, you will take in the views of the Rhododendron covered banks of the Laurel Run Creek and the sights and sounds of a mature hardwood forest.
Please bring a packed lunch – we will find a scenic spot to enjoy these along the trail!
This is a 2-mile round trip hike that is rated expert, and participants should come prepared with sturdy shoes and drinking water. Participants will be required to cross Laurel Run Creek and should be prepared to get their feet wet.
Meet at the Laurel Run Park gravel lot.
