FYI: Due to water tank improvements, bathrooms and water fountains will be unavailable from October 2 through early December. Portable toilets and handwashing stations will be located throughout the park.

Farmstead Museum hours: Mon – Wed: 8:30AM – 3PM | Thurs – Sat: 9AM – 4:30PM

FYI: The Observation Tower at the end of Cliffside Trail will be closed until further notice.

All pets must be placed on a 6ft visible leash at all times when at the park. No pets are allowed in the animal habitat area.

It is highly recommended that program tickets are purchased at least 15 minutes before any program, in-person or online.

Spend a spring afternoon wandering along park trails, listening to stories about the mountain. Join us for a Guided History Hike!

This program will focus on families that lived in the mountain area, and will be led by park volunteers, David and Brenda Fox.

We’re excited to provide more history programming for you. Prepare for a four-mile round trip hike along sections of Lakeside and Lake Road Trails. Please expect to hike for about three hours. Portions of the trails are hilly and will require climbing.

Pre-registration is required by calling the Nature Center at (423)229-9447. Space is limited for 15 participants, and cost is $5 per person. Children in backpack carriers are no charge. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring plenty of drinking water!
