Enjoy an Evening Paddle at Bays Mountain Park
Bays Mountain Park is offering guests the opportunity to bring their own canoe, kayak or paddleboard and enjoy the peaceful sounds of a summer evening while exploring the 44-acre reservoir with friends and family.
During the month of August, the park is offering “Evening Paddle” events on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Participants are required to bring their own canoe, kayak or paddleboard along with a Type III personal floatation vest.
Pre-registration is required, and the cost is $10 per person for non-members of Bays Mountain Park. The program is limited to 20 participants. Guests can unload watercraft near the upper portion of the dam.
Paddling around the lake in a canoe or kayak can be a calm and relaxing activity you can enjoy with friends and family, surrounded by the natural beauty of Bays Mountain Park.
