Trail Blazing:
BMP is seeking help blazing park trails. Blazings are painted markers on tress along trails. The project will focus on Bays Ridge Road and Bays Ridge Trail. Each trail is rated advanced to difficult. Total length of trail from start to finish is 4.3 miles one way. The park will provide all supplies.
Litter Removal:
From time to time, trash may appear along the sides of BMP trails. Help remove such items and keep nature clean. Guests will need their own work gloves.
Invasive Species Removal:
Along the animal habitats is an invasive plant called Japanese Stiltgrass. This grass prevents native plants from growing. It is growing out of control in some places. Help BMP control this invasion. Guests need their own work gloves.
