As the sun sets and the forest begins to stir, join us for a Twilight Amphibian Hike at Bays Mountain Park. Spring is prime time for frogs and salamanders, so we’ll explore wooded trails and wetland edges to listen for evening calls and search for these secretive creatures. Along the way, learn about amphibian life cycles, breeding behaviors, and the important role they play in healthy ecosystems. This guided dusk adventure offers a unique chance to experience the sights and sounds of the park after hours.
Please bring plenty of water and wear shoes to hike in! It gets dark quickly, so a flashlight is recommended.
