Explore Bays Mountain Park in a brand new light – after dark!

It’s Park After Dark and we invite families to experience the park during the night. We’ve got a full schedule of fun activities all across the park each night.

For the first Park After Dark – Here’s a list of some the events and you can click on a link to pre-register.

CHOOSE ONE PROGRAM

6.30 pm – Sunset Hike to The Fire Tower (Limit 10)
Experience a Bay’s Mountain sunset from a bird’s eye view. This is a 4-mile roundtrip hike and may take up to 3 hours to complete. Be prepared with good shoes, water, and a flashlight. Not recommended for young children.

7.00 pm – Campfire Stories and Smores (Limit 20)
Join park staff around the campfire where we will tell stories and make Smores. Smores supplies will be provided!

7.00 pm – Family Fishing (Limit 25)
Join us for a peaceful evening and fish on our 44-acre reservoir. Participants must supply their own equipment and bait. There is no live bait allowed except nightcrawlers.

Everyone must fish off the dam and everyone on the dam, must have a ticket. Cost is $10 per person and limited to 25 participants. Fishing will start at 6pm and wrap up at 8pm. All people fishing must have a valid Tennessee Fishing License.

Each program is $10  per person per program. Public can sign up for as many events as they like. Since this is a “Special Event” no membership discount will be accepted.

Park entrance is included in the program fee.
