Meditation and Breath Work in the Planetarium
This 40-minute immersive breath-work and meditation program will take place in Bay’s Mountain’s one-of-a-kind planetarium. From dawn to dusk, the planetarium will simulate a day’s journey while we discuss the evidence-based benefits of meditation and diaphragmatic breathing. Students will be encouraged to practice the different breathing techniques and yoga Nidra/non-sleep-deep-rest (NSDR) activities offered during class. This class is designed for those who wish to learn about and/or become better at meditation. The class will conclude with a starry night guided meditation.
The cost is $10 a person. Please feel free to bring water with a sealable lid. No mat is required.
This program is designed for adults (science-based topics will be covered) but if your child is interested in learning about meditation and is 10 years or older, please feel free to bring them.
