Have you wondered, has anyone lived on Bays Mountain? How did they live? Who were they? Find out the answers to these questions and more along this one hour hike. Enjoy an afternoon stroll, out to the
floating bridge, along Lakeside Trail with park guides.
Learn about what it was like to live on the mountain over 100 years ago. This hike is suitable for families with young children. The group will hike one mile, round trip, to the floating bridge and back to the dam long Lake Road.
The cost is $5 per person for non-members. Pre-registration is required by calling the Nature Center at (423) 229-9447.
The group will meet under the balcony behind the Nature Center. Please bring drinking water and wear closed-toed hiking shoes. No pets allowed.
