Join a Ranger for a fascinating walk into the world of fungi! As we go through the shady trails and damp forest floors around our animal habitats, we’ll search for mushrooms big and small—learning about their life cycles, ecological roles, and surprising diversity. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned fungi fan, this hike offers something for everyone.
Participants are asked to meet at the Nature Center. Please bring a water and close-toed shoes, and an optional camera for fungi photos!
