Join a ranger for a guided Fall Fungi Walk this September! We will explore the fascinating world of mushrooms, lichens, and other fungi. Learn how fungi play a vital role in forest ecosystems and discover common species found in East Tennessee. This is a perfect hike for nature lovers, photographers, and curious explorers of all ages!

This family-friendly hike is rated as moderate and spans roughly 2.5 miles. Please bring water and wear closed-toed shoes. Participants should plan to meet in front of the Nature Center 10 minutes before the hike begins. If you have any questions, please contact Ranger Laura Ellis at LauraEllis@KingsportTN.gov.

Cost: $3 per person

Limited to 20 participants.

Location: Lakeside Trail (meet at the Nature Center)
