Public Programs
Bays Mountain Park offers a wide variety of public programs throughout the year. Enjoy a relaxing ride on the lake, get up close and personal with some of our native animals and relax under a star-filled sky. Tickets for all programs may be purchased at the Gift Shop in the Nature Center and are only available on the day of the program.
- Planetarium Theater Astronomy Shows: $4 per person for ages 6 and older.
Children 5 and under will receive a free pass. - Nature Programs: $2.00 per person.
- Barge Rides: $3.00 per person.
- Park Association members will receive free passes to programs.

Barge Rides
Enjoy the beauty of the Bays Mountain reservoir aboard a pontoon boat while the secrets of local aquatic animals are revealed. Observe water lilies, deer, raccoons, ducks, geese, turtles, great blue herons, and sometimes black bear. Your naturalist will discuss park history as well as the sights and sounds encountered on your trip creating a unique experience. More >>
