Say Hello to our new wolf cubs!

On Monday, August 20, 2007, our new cubs successfully joined the rest of the pack. It was a very exciting day and everything went very well. Check back soon for more pictures.

Bays Mountain Park owes a great deal of appreciation to all of the dedicated volunteers
who helped to make this possible.

On May 26, 2007, four (4) new timber wolf pups arrived at Bays Mountain Park. They come to us from Bear Country U.S.A. in Rapid City, South Dakota. There are two (2) males and two (2) females and all from the same litter.

Currently, they are being kept in a separate enclosure from our adult wolves and are under constant supervision by a dedicated group of volunteers. Over the coming months, the new pups will slowly be introduced to the existing pack. We begin by sharing sticks that carry the puppies scents with the adult wolves and visa versa. Once they have grown a little larger, the pups will begin to venture out into a larger enclosure where they will be able to see eachother a little more. Eventually, the two groups will be put together.
