| K - The Friendly Stars | An animated adventure that features a talking sun and stars to capture the imagination. Children are introduced to the importance of the sun, finding the big dipper, and hearing an ancient story about the night sky. |
| 1st - Larry Cat in Space | This is a purrfectly wonderful story about Larry and his quest to travel to the moon. Children learn about space travel and living on the mewn. |
| 2nd - Sky Tellers | A fascinating program that includes two Native American sky lore stories. The first story is about Negah, a sheep that turns into the North Star. The second story is about two cousins who fall in love with the moon and desire to marry him. In addition to the sky stories, there are also science stories that explain why the North Star is important and why there are phases of the moon. Originally produced by the Lunar & Planetary Institute, this program highlights the artwork of our Park's artists. We know that your family will love this star show. |
| 3rd - Solar System | Students learn of the planets and other objects that compose our solar system. This presentation incorporates the latest spacecraft imagery and information. Extensive use of computer animations and other visuals make this a realistic and memorable tour of our Sun's family. |
| 4th - The Case of the Disappearing Planet | A radio announcement... an excited phone call... and our sly gumshoe, Skye Watcher, is on the case. Explore with Skye and discover what happened to the ex-planet Pluto as she tracks down clues that stretch back hundreds of years! Students will have great fun with this unique program that looks into the changing status of planets in our Solar System. |
| 5th - You Are Here | An overview of our place in the Universe. An informative look at the historical understanding of Earth's location in the Universe. Traveling to the farthest reaches of space, children learn about star clusters, nebulae, and other objects in our Milky Way Galaxy. Going farther, other galaxies are explored, as well as space, time, and the concept of light years. |
