animal
enclosures
| Wolves | Gray wolves once roamed the hills of East Tennessee. To see what the Gray Wolf looks like, take a look at the wolves in our 1.5 acre wolf habitat. Click here for access to our "Wolf Cam" |
| Turtles | Currently under construction, our new Turtle habitat will contain many turtles that are native to our area. You can view our progress on our new habitat by clicking here. |
| White-Tail Deer | There are many deer of this type that roam freely around the grounds at Bays Mountain Park. We have some that we keep safe in a special habitat where we take care of them and are easy to view by the public. |
| Bobcats | Put on your "wildlife eyes" and look hard to find the shy, secretive, and well camoflaged Bobcat. |
| River Otters | Our otter pool curently has two residents, Mr. Kringle and Slingshot. The pool is used to rehabilitate otters that occasionally get hurt by people. The ones that stay are deemed unreleaseable and are kept here for their safety. |
| Raccoons | Raccoons are cute little mammals, but despite their cute appearance, these animals do not make good pets, and are best left in the wild. These two critters have been deemed unreleaseable, and stay here at Bays Mountain for their safety. |
