Barge Fishing
Wednesday, September 8
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Always wanted to fish Bays Mountain Lake? Now is your chance to enjoy an evening on the barge and attempt to catch that big one.
The cost is $6.00 per person and is limited to eight persons per trip. All participants must be at least 12-years-old and possess a current fishing license. This special event is a "catch-and-release" event and no fish will be kept.
Please contact Naturalist Bob Culler for more information and/or to reserve a spot.
Canoe & Kayak Tours

at 6:00 p.m.
Easily one of the most enjoyable ways to enjoy Bays Mountain's Lake. Take a unique tour of the lake with one of the Park's Naturalist. Must provide your own kayak/canoe and safety gear. Space is limited to 12, so be sure to reserver your spot early. For reservations, call (423)299-9447.
Twilight Barge Rides

& October 20 at 6 p.m.
Barge rides on the Bays Mountain Lake are always a wonderful experience. Spend a late evening on the lake being serenaded by the park's creatures of the twilight while enjoying beautiful late summer lakeside scenery..
Space is limited to 25 people per ride and pre-registration is required.
Bays Mountain Trail Race

A challenging 15 mile loop course on the scenic trails of our spacious nature preserve. Come put yourself to the test or just be here to cheer the runners on!

Sleeping with Wolves

Experience a night with our wolves and catch a unique view
of these beautiful animals as they come to life at night.
Program is limited to Park Association members and pre-registration is required.

This is a fantastic way to enjoy the splendid array of Fall colors at Bays Mountain.
Space is limited, so be sure to arrive early to reserve your spot.
Bays Mountain Park's Halloween Haunt
October 29 & 30 from 7:00 - 11:00 p.m.
Hear ghost stories, enjoy a moonlight barge ride, see the raptors at night, and have a "howling" good time with the wolves or slithery snakes. Dare to venture through the Haunted Forest (not recommeded for children under 12).
Programs every half hour!
Cost - $5.00 per car for Association Members
$10.00
per car for non-members
No vehicles/visitors admitted after 10:00 p.m..
